20, 2022. I'm Javoniel here with Rebecca Tzinsky coming to you from

Book Riot.com. We got a lot to get through today and not much time to do it. We're going to do a couple things because

we're starting to get 2021 results from the publishing industry. I've got the list of the

best-selling books of the year, but I'm going to hold that in the bans till next week.

So we're just going to do the top tier today.

Publishing is doing doing some check out some other stuff and I've got some hot takes to throw at you.

Okay.

But that's a preview of next week. And I will I will

abstain from looking at any headlines or clicking on anything about the top

selling books of the year so that I can come in cold and give you the

setup that you prefer where I just guess wildly at things.

It will be humiliating I think and this is the reason why and I spent some time on

Tik-Tok over break especially book related it is interesting I've got some

thoughts Danick and I talked about it before. I got some details from her. I really swam around in the pool.

I'm not sure if it's a place I want to hang out, but I think it's worth talking about, especially when you start to see some of the names that appear there and some meta trends within or sub trends within the trends.

So all that's to be said next week we're going to get to specific titles.

This week we're going to do reading habits, printing, library stuff, and then

Station 11. We are now, episode 9 came out today. I have not watched it yet. There's one more
