Summary

One of the biggest mass border crossings occurred over the weekend, with border officials confirming over 15,000 migrants crossing into El Paso, Texas in the span of 48 hours. This uptick in illegal border activity comes at a time when US Customs and Border Protection facilities are overwhelmed. The pandemic-era border policy Title 42 is still set to expire on December 21st, however many are warning that border agents will face a massive migrant influx once the policy is lifted. Fox News National Correspondent Bill Melugin covers the border and joins the Rundown from Mission, Texas to break down why the migrant surge is not seasonal but due to policy, what migrant interviews reveal about key motivations to migrate to America and border officials concerns about the end of Title 42. Nearly 34 years after the incident, Abu Agila Mohammed Masud had his first court appearance on Monday on charges relating to the Pan Am Flight 103 bombing. Masud is facing charges in the United States and is suspected of making the bomb that killed 270 people in Lockerbie, Scotland. Former President for the Victims of Pan Am Flight 103 Bert Ammerman lost his brother on that flight. He joins the Rundown to discuss his reactions to the trial, his experience following the tragedy, and why he believes that a stronger response could have prevented the 9/11 terror attacks. Plus, commentary by Fox Nation host Tammy Bruce. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
