so hey there's a debate going on and it's going to

bleed into the Southern Baptist Convention next week. In fact there's a debate I

think between Tom Askel and Dwight McKissick on

Complementarianism at the Convention and I just want to kind of walk through for

laymen who are watching this maybe they don't quite understand what the big deal

is especially those who might be attending the convention how should we as Christians think

about this or you know those who aren't seminary professors, but just, you know, laymen,

pastors and rural churches and so forth. How do we go about navigating this issue?

Because it's going to be the buzz and our opinions are going to be asked about it because it is an issue.

So I wanted to start off by showing this is a tweet that Beth Moore released on April 27th and I'm sure you remember

this AD she talks about preaching on Mother's Day and and then Dwight McKissick who's a pastor in the Southern Baptist

Convention says that doing so is actually practicing biblical fidelity and

his reason is because gifts are not given according to gender, but the

Holy Spirit gave those women proclamation gifts and he opened the door for them to exercise
