Right. Before we get into the main themes of our podcast,

which would be about competitiveness and the new agenda of the new European Commission,

a few words, if you wouldn't mind, about what breakthrough energy is, please.

Absolutely, with great pleasure.

So breakthrough energy was founded in 2015 by Bill Gates,

essentially to accelerate the world's journey to a clean energy future.

It is today a global network, and as part of that network,

we have investments, we have around 130 portfolio companies

that really work at the cutting edge of clean energy. But also we do philanthropy. We have

public policy leaders, investors as part of that network. I would say it's one of a kind.

Maybe I should add that I purposefully

looked for an outfit like this when I left the commission, because I believe that it is

precisely through organizations like that, that we can bring about the catalytic change

that is needed in order to accelerate the clean energy transition.

Right. So we're on the cusp of a new commission.

Oslo And the line has been reappointed for a second five-year term.
