Some things are outside of our grasp and possibly in a sense might be one of them.

Yeah, that is true. I sent a email to Alfonso Pinto. I don't think he listens to the podcast.

This is my fellow professor of dogmatic theology. He has also my boss because he's the cycle director and he was just grilling me about my syllabus, which is apparently not up to par.

For the class, it starts in a week in the two classes.

I said quit persecuting the Holy Innocence of your young professors and he goes,

there's nothing innocent in all of you. I was like, no, we'll take that.

Something like that.

The Innocence might not be the word that comes to mind when people meet us, but

Brooke at the Sanos Italian restaurant tonight, that was a bit of a shock.

She said, how was your Christmas? I said, well, it's a work day, but it was really good.

It was a nice lead in though.

I laid the bear trap for you guys.

We weren't in clerics. We were just getting a quick bite here at Saturday night and then it was the bear clam.

Catholic priests, hard to recover from that.

She was a bit shocked.

It's another wild and crazy Saturday night here.

Nothing going on except some loon jazz to warm us up.

What else do you need before an evening of podcasting, then contemporary jazz accompanied by loons?
