Welcome to the Peter King podcast on location in Phoenix, Arizona, site of the NFL League meetings.

Now, as Miles Simmons, my partner, and I record this on Wednesday, March 29. The League meetings ended last evening at the Arizona Biltmore

Hotel. So before Miles and I get out of town, we decided we would record a podcast to sort of sum up what happened,

including some interesting drama at the league meetings that you don't often see.

And I've been coming to these things for 38 years.

So, and I'll explain that drama to you in a few moments, but first we're later in the

podcast not video only audio we're going to have Rich McKay the chairman of the

competition committee to talk about one surprising, I'd say a, I shouldn't say surprising,

but one very interesting tweak in a rule that players are going to notice and I do not think

players are going to like. However, it's a tweak in a rule that I think is really necessary.

But so we'll get into Rich McKay a little bit later in the podcast.

Miles Simmons and I are going to discuss the following topics. Number one, the flare-up over the flex schedule, surprising flare-up on Tuesday at the league meetings.

Number two, well, Marg Jackson, who is getting desperate, really need someone to tell him right now. Dude, no one is discriminating against

you for being, you know, for getting injured a little bit.

You're getting injured a lot and that's the reason why this whole

fiasco is happening aside from the fact that you don't have an agent.

There's another team out of the Lamar Derby, Atlanta.

I don't think they're ever really in it.

We'll talk about that.

The New York Jets will not be rushed into overpaying for

Aaron Rogers and I believe they will not give a first round draft pick that is

without conditions.
