And sisters in Islam it is absolutely important for us to understand that the messengers of Allah

those who were sent by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, they were chosen by Allah.

They were chosen very very carefully.

And Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala speaks about it in the Quran.

The term used is istifah.

istifah yashtafi means to choose, to select.

Allah says,

Allah selects, Allah chooses the messengers that He wants from the angels and from the mankind.

So the messengers of Allah those who will carry His message, they are chosen by Allah.

When you have a nation for example, if they want to choose an ambassador who will represent

that nation in a different place, they will select the best.

They will select someone whom they will be proud of.

So Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala selected the best.

And from among all of them the best was Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam having the largest

ummah and being the final of all the messengers, Allah kept a certain soul that was the most

beloved to Him, the highest of all creation, the most noble of all those prophets as being

Muhammad ibn Abdullah Al-Hashimiya Purashi, Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

Thereafter Allah chose companions.

These companions were chosen for one year every Wednesday we have been speaking about some

of these companions and we have been trying to make mention of their names and a little

bit of their biographies in order for us to become acquainted with the best of the heroes.
