This is probably one of the most glamorous moments of my life.

Time for newsish with Betty Rock on The Wally Show.

It's tough being a parent and sometimes you just hit your limit and you may tell a little

white lie here or there to just get your kids to cooperate and just do what you tell them to.

I get it.

I get it.

And so I know that my parents have, later in life I found out that they had told me a couple of things that I thought were real that I got into my 20s and I was like, wait a minute, that's not real. Like you can't have ice cream after you eat fish sticks. That's not true. I was told that was poisonous and I would die. I don't even know what. I think it was to keep me from eating ice cream. I don't know. And you must eat a lot of fish sticks as a kid, too.

Oh, yeah. I still do. But anyway, I found a list of some of the best ones that parents are sharing.

And maybe these are a few that you want to incorporate into your own parenting arsenal.

Yeah. The first one is, if you want to take a good nap but your kids are just being crazy, you tell

them, hey, wake me up in an hour and then we're going to start cleaning this house.

If you do that, they're going to do everything they can not to wake you up.

That is ingenious.

Right? Oh my goodness. I wish I had known that.

Another one is one guy said that his dad told him that the car had a sunroof and that his dad said there's an ejector button.
