That's Saturday. And Arnold just called in sharing that he's been blind for five years and he's 59.

And personally, I'm touched by your call, Arnold.

I wanted to share, just share that and also say thank you for calling in.

I just wanted to share that I thought of a scripture in the New Testament in Acts when it's written about Paul initially

walking on the road to Damascus and looking to persecute some Christians in that city and on the way he's blinded by this light from heaven

that shines directly from Jesus and yeah he's he's blind for three days but what came to mind that I just wanted to share was that he physically may not have been able to see, and he dealt with that, but spiritually at that time, his eyes were opened, and he had that spiritual sight from God at that point.

I will pray for you and I know there are others that will be praying for you

and just thank you again for calling in.

This is a message for Blind Arnold who's been blind for five years.

Brother, I want to pray Matthew 11, 28 to 30 for you.

In that scripture, Jesus himself is saying,

come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

So Jesus, I pray that you will give my brother rest as only you can, that he will be able to take your yoke and learn from you, for you are gentle and humble in heart, and you will give us rest for our souls as no other can provide. Your yoke is easy and your burden is light. We all have a purpose in you.

And our purpose, as one Corinthians, 127 says,

is to use the foolish things of this world,

to shame the wise, to glorify God by nullifying what the world looks on as glorious.

So, Father, show Arnold how to do this. I don't know how you will have for him,

but by being close to him, by giving him joy, you can begin the work and you will finish the good work that you started in him. And your word says that you will not give us more than we can bear.

Sometimes it's translated as temptation, but in Greek temptation, no temptation that we can bear
