Good afternoon, daily audio Bible community. This is Diane, I live in Jeff Brown on

Friday, May 24th, 2023. At 2.24 in the afternoon, central time. I'm in Jeff's

office and we just read the reading from May 24th. And so I made a few notes

but I'd like to kind of condense them down a bit. And I guess what it boils down to is

we have the offer from Jesus to be his friends, which means that we forsake all things

that so easily be set us and go to him for help, from the Holy Spirit. And he gives us this help

and he calls us his friends. But like David fell very hard if we lose sight of Jesus and forget

who's we are, then we will also fall. So my prayer for all of us is that we would learn to

love Jesus, learn to obey him, learn to choose him over all other things and people and

friends and understand to be called his friend is the greatest treasure of all. There is no other treasure

greater than being called his friend. This is my desire. I...

jump to treasure. Who, of course, we continue, continue to lift in prayer. What a beautiful, beautiful voice. Thank you so much for

blessing us. Oh, I just heard your voice over and over the rest of the day and I just... I think you need to sing. I think

you need to sing. I think lots of us probably need to call in and sing and share the beautiful voices

God has blessed us with. That would not be me. So I won't be singing for you. And Jamie and New Jersey, I have often wondered

what kind of life you lead and knew about your son. But thank you for sharing with us and happy

belated birthday. And what a godly man you are. You are loyal. You definitely are in the word. You are praying God's word. You are

praying, man. I am sure that if you just continue to be about the business that the Lord is at work in in your

life, in your community, may he just bless you, open your eyes to see of future wife. We will just pray for her that

she too is a godly woman. And she is deeply steeped in the word like you are. So Lord, thank you for the

dad family. Thank you. There are so many to pray for. But for the voices that call in and sing, for the people
