Brothers and sisters in the Daily Audio Bible, this is Will Bavreland, formerly of Waynesboro, then moved to Strasbourg, now I'm in Culpeper, Virginia.

I am really trying to embrace James 1-2 today. My wife and I separated about a month ago. At first,

it was supposed to be a mutual separation for six to eight months so that we could work

on ourselves individually and then come back together as a couple stronger the counselor that

she's been seeing has influenced her to separate from me completely so she wanted to separate financially as well. She had the paperwork and everything

drawn up. We ratified all of that yesterday. It was supposed to be just a property division because

she didn't want to have to worry about me and my finances or me to worry about her and her finances.

But within eight hours of the ink drying on the separation agreement, she also changed

her Facebook status to single.

And there was language in this agreement that said that essentially we can move about our lives as if we are single or unmarried and if we can engage in any social relationship we deem appropriate. I pushed back on this, but she said it wasn't changing and that if I don't sign the papers, she'll just bring me before the judge

in November.

I feel abandoned.

I feel lied to.

This was not supposed to be this. This was supposed to be just a short time for temporary

healing. And it seems like

she's taking steps to make it permanent. Please pray for our hearts. Pray for renewed mind,
