Welcome to the daily audio Bible prayer and encouragement for the week ending

February 4th, 2023. The Father, here we are, brand new month and the first time

that we get to gather like this in a brand new month, the second month of this

year. And we thank you. We thank you for bringing us through that first month of

the year. We thank you for the rhythm that we are in now as we move through our

days and weeks. We thank you for your kindness and patience with us. We thank you for all

that you are and all that you are doing in our lives and in this community. And so as we come

together to check in, to check in with each other, to catch each other up on stories, to pray for

one another to rejoice, together to weep together. Holy Spirit, come, knit us together. We pray

in Jesus name. Amen.

Hi, this is Julia calling. I was calling for the mom that called in who reported that

she has a hard time controlling her anger and sometimes she has some explosive

episodes and you know, she just recently had one where she yelled at her kids and everybody

ended up crying. And I just wanted to pray for you because it just totally touched my

heart. I feel like I grew up on the other end of that as the kid and who's mom sometimes

had some explosive episodes or tendencies. And I grew up with a lot of, I don't know,

I guess anger in my heart towards my mom. And it wasn't until I got older and I got to

reflect on that and let the Lord heal that place in my heart that I was able to see her

from a different lens and understand that my mom was also going through stuff. And so

I just pray for grace over the hearts of your children and that they understand that

you totally love them and that people just get frustrated sometimes and that's okay.
