Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible Prayer and Encouragement for the Week Ending August 26, 2023.

Father, we love you and here we are at the end of a month that it feels like we just began at here we are at the end for the last time this month that we will come together like this.

But it's week by week and there are always things going on and come Holy Spirit. We are desperate for your guidance and your comfort and for your direction.

Lead us in this time and how we should pray. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Good evening family. It's so ring the needless things from Canada. It's nighttime here and I'm about to settle down for my rest.

Outside the wind is howling the trees are just bending and swaying as we all await the rain that is to come.

Branches are falling off. It's the wind storm. As I'm lying here I think our God, our Abba, has a whole world in his hands.

Everything happens because he allows it and he has us in his hands and so I think of Jenny who's been out of work for 30 months in Abba.

She's asking for a job what one that she can do remotely and you know her needs, you know why she wants to have a remote job.

And as we her family lift her up and her prayers go up to you, I pray that you would answer according to your will.

Also, I think of Bridgett's father-in-law who has had his triple bypass and I pray that his recovery is going smoothly and that you father will be present.

You will touch his mind, his body, his spirit and when he is fully recovered, you will be a new person in Jesus Christ.

Hi DAB family, this is Lara in Colorado. I just wanted to say a prayer for Peyton in the Bay Area who called and asked for a prayer for a job situation.

God we just lift up our brother Peyton and we just ask Jesus that you would intervene in this situation. We ask for clarity, we ask for wisdom, we ask for clear direction.

God, we just ask that you would guide every step that you would make it clear and if he is to stay or if he is to move that your hand would be in it and over it and through it.

And we pray for every member of his family and how it might impact each one. Jesus, we just ask that you'd be glorified in their life.

And if this is something that you have called him to do, that you would make the path clear and we just even ask for today.

God, that you would begin to just give direction in Jesus name.

Hello, this is Mike from South Dakota. I'm asking you to pray for my boss, Pat McCaskey, and I see you.

He's getting pneumonia and sepsis. He's not looking too good, so I'm asking you to pray for him. He's a good man.

Our worker and good friend and everyone that I've ever asked you to pray for has come out.

Even though this looks very hard, very dark from asking you to pray for him.
