Welcome to the daily audio Bible prayer and encouragement for the week ending April

22nd, 2023.

Father, we love you.

We thank you for your unending, unstoppable love for us.

We thank you for your patience with us and your compassion on us.

We thank you for your leadership in our lives,

revealing to us the pathways of peace, leading us on the narrow path that leads to life.

We love you and we begin this time in an attitude and heart of worship.

You alone are God.

You alone hold the answers to all of the issues of life.

And we are lost utterly without you.

So come Holy Spirit into this time.

As we gather together and do a little bit of catching up on stories

and just hear the issues of life, some of them funny, some of them happy, some of them difficult, some of them sad.

We invite you into all of it.

Come Jesus and lead us in this time we pray.

And your name we ask.

Amen.

I'm sitting here at my chapel table this morning with the sun full on my face,

listening to the robins tweeting in the hedge, feeling so grateful that God is with me,

not just with me, but intertwined with me so completely that we cannot be separated.
