I'm hard believer in the middle of summer, but I am excited about this conversation because there's a ton of talk about.

Passover is one of the richest biblical traditions,

and we're going to unpack a lot of it.

But let's set it up a little bit.

What's the context that this event happened in?

Yeah, so Passover happens in Exodus chapter 12,

and the Israelites have been enslaved in bondage in Egypt to Pharaoh

and you know it's the whole let my people go and it won't I mean they are they have been in a

fight and they've been dominated in that for years.

And then finally, these plagues come and the Passover is God saying, okay, here's what I'm going to do.

You're going to slur-o-slam, put the blood on the doorpost, and when I see that, I will pass over, kill the firstborn, what I'm going to do. You're going to slurice lamb, put the blood on the doorpost.
