which is an evocative title.

Absolutely.

And it was first published, and this might actually tell you how bonkers this story is.

It seems to have only been published in the mysterious Mr. Quinn collection itself.

There apparently is no trace of it being published in any other magazine, which is very odd for these.

Yeah, so I think pretty much all of the other ones were previously collected.

Yeah, even per the official Christie, a state website about this, they don't seem to know if it was previously published.

Right, yeah, my edition says the same thing.

It says that they can't find a prior publication.

So they're kind of hedging their bets a little bit there,

but yeah, maybe that's just because she wanted to go completely wack-a-do for the collection.

I don't know.

I guess.

I mean, it's an incredibly weird story.

Yeah, and as listeners know for the mysterious Mr. Quinn, that is indeed saying something.
