Sally Sussman is currently the executive vice president and chief corporate affairs officer

at Pfizer.

She leads engagement with all of Pfizer's external stakeholders overseeing communications,

corporate responsibility, global policy, government relations, patient advocacy,

and investor relations.

She also serves as vice chair of the Pfizer Foundation.

Before joining Pfizer in 2007, she held several senior communications and government relations

roles at the Estee Lauder Companies at American Express.

I happened to first learn about Sally from her days at Estee Lauder.

And earlier in her career, she also spent eight years on Capitol Hill focused on international

trade issues and was deputy assistant secretary for legislative affairs in the Clinton administration.

I mean, her resume goes on and on and on. She's the co-chair of the International Rescue Committee,

one of the largest humanitarian aid organizations. I mean, I could spend the whole episode talking about

Sally's resume and pedigree. But we're really here today to dive into her best-selling book,
