Hello. How are you? I am pretty good. I'm very excited to have you on the show. I feel like

we've talked in the past. I think we did an interview.

You did a guest host episode on I think it was Francis Lovell for the show, but that was probably back in what, 2020?

I think it was even before that. I think it wasn't during COVID, so it's years. Oh, my gosh, it has been a long.

I'm sorry, it took so long to have you back on the show, but I'm so happy to have you

here today to talk about a woman in history that I literally didn't even know existed until

your book, Alice Chaucer.

So let's start out because I am so curious about how did you learn about her?

What got you interested in her in the first place?

Well, I was reading about, well, as you said, my first book was about Francis Lovell,

so The Walls of the Roses, and I was reading about some, some sort of less discussed people like Francis Lovell and also John de la Poe, that's the brother-in-law of Edward Vourth and Richard III, and Alice Chaucer was his mother.

So I was, I was researching him, and she she popped up and I was like, she's just so
