I want to help all of you.

You and I were having a conversation before the show about Thanksgiving and how, for me,

Thanksgiving is the most underappreciated holiday on the calendar because what it is

for a lot of people is simply Christmas Part 1.

And that bothers me.

Of course. The other thing that bothers me is when you walk into a

Thanksgiving dinner, perhaps you're happy to see the family. Maybe you're not. I don't know.

But the worst things you could hear is whoever's cooking the meal say, you know what? I did

something different with the stuffing this year.

No. Stop it. We need to take some time and enjoy the day, number one, for what it is,

Thanksgiving, not Christmas part one, and respect the tradition. Fancy green beans, different take on green bean casserole, I did something different with the stuffing,

all this other crap.

That's good for 364 days out of the year.

I'm all about innovation.

I like different kinds of food.

I like different ways to prepare the food.

But on Thanksgiving, we need to stick to tradition.

You need to act like it's 1955 in your house.

There should be green bean casserole on the table.

Not Mario Battali's molester version of a green bean casserole.

I forgot he said a little... His orange clogs and...

That's some problems.
