I saw something today and it bothered me.

I think it's going to bother you.

It very well may.

A 77 year old man in Australia, Western Australia, 250 miles southeast of Perth,

has been killed by a kangaroo.

Oh.

It was reportedly the first fatal attack by a kangaroo in Australia since 1936.

I have two thoughts, okay.

First of all, clearly it doesn't happen often.

Last time this happened was 1936 in Australia, land of

kangaroos. But if you go to our zoo, the Columbus Zoo, they let you walk

right in. The kangaroos are hopping around you.

Yeah, that's right.

And I'm just waiting for one of those kangaroos to take a look at me and kill me.

And I wouldn't blame them if they did.

Well, here's the thing. I mean, you are correct that any time you are around a wild animal,

theoretically, that wild animal could decide to do anything at once.

And your risk of that happening seems to be fairly

low but it's never zero. Never zero. So I'm waiting to be killed by a kangaroo. Well also I mean they don't let them just hop around the park right I mean they they have them in an enclosure for a reason right but they go there in there well but they assume they don't like shove you in there and they're like,

get in there. They're just like, if you want to go, you can, but please shut these doors

behind you because we don't want them just roaming around.

I think there should be a sign. I think they're a chance of death. That's what the sign should say.
