I didn't come to realize that until I got into the music industry just how many artists

got into the music industry when I worked at a radio station to play music.

with all of my insider friends at BMI. I'm sorry that at your record at your radio station you didn't talk to record labels we talked to them all the time

right that's fine it just sounded very pretentious yeah but I got involved you know

people call our radio station saying I wrote a song can you get it to the people who write

songs yeah but I have that here too buck I guy right an acoustic song I had no idea that that was even a thing. Like growing up I just thought if I hear

Carrie Underwood or whoever sing a song I thought well she probably wrote it or

someone with her or in her band wrote No, like that's never the case. Other

people write these songs and then famous beautiful people who have good voices

sing those songs and make all the money off of them.

I was talking to my good friend Richard Marx in the music industry.

No, we wouldn't. We were writing love ballads together.

Richard Marx write all of his songs?

You think he's got, you think he had writers?

He did it himself?
