Republicans have launched an all-out assault on the health care of the American people, and it continues today.

Republican Party, Republican candidates and incumbents are the only ones actually

working and actually voting to reduce the cost of health care.

The Democrats are not.

People are going to see a health care premium spike.

When you actually look at both sides and this situation, it could be resolved immediately, but nobody wants to do it.

We have a disagreement. You know, that happens all the time. Our moderates, just like our

most conservative members, want to lower premiums for all families.

All right, in tonight's Common Ground segment, a bipartisan effort to pass legislation to keep

health care insurance premiums from skyrocketing at the start of the year.

Joining us tonight are New York Republican Congressman Mike Lawler, New Jersey Democratic

Congressman Jockeithheimer.

Congressman Lawler, you're one of four Republicans who have signed onto this effort.

Correct, Brett. There's two issues here. One is the expiration of the enhanced premium tax credit,

which Democrats put in place during COVID, slated to expire at the end of this year,
