housing programs is a matter really of common sense. Well, in tonight's Common Ground segment,

the bipartisan effort to tackle housing reform.

Joining us, two members of the House Financial Services Committee, Republican Chairman French Hill of Arkansas and Democrat Congressman Emmanuel Cleaver of Missouri.

This bill passed 396 to 13 on Wednesday.

It's a big vote, a bipartisan vote. This bill looks like the 21st

century road to housing act, streamline housing development, improve affordability, encourage new

construction, update HUD programs, eliminate regulatory barriers, restore community banking provisions.

Mr. Chairman, it seems like it's a consensus in the House with that kind of vote, but it still goes back to the Senate and faces something over there.
