We're going to talk about a commitment and we're going to get to a couple of questions that we still have left over from a couple episodes now.

0:43.0

So we'll jump into it as always.

0:46.0

Thinking our friends in New Iberia, Louisiana, three simple ingredients, one fantastic product.

0:51.0

Louisiana hot sauce, driving force, title sponsor, the Noel Cass and without bud, we will jump into tonight's podcast.

0:58.0

Yeah, let's go ahead and start with some good news tonight and the good news for Thor State fans is that the issue landed in offensive lineman offensive lineman alert right.

1:06.0

Kimo Machinol, three star offensive lineman from Niceville, Florida, Niceville High School, ends up committing to the seminoles.

1:14.0

And I think there's some reasons to be excited about this one and we'll also get into the discussion of why now why did for state offer and accept his commitment in such shorter.

1:26.0

So lots talk about tonight with with Kimo for sure.

1:31.0

Yeah, so exciting pick up, you know, three star prospect everybody's going to make their own comments about that but going over to Niceville, going west to Niceville.

1:39.0

It's always good to see Florida state maintain some kind of presence that in the part of the state that is west to it and not just totally see that to Alabama and other players.

1:50.0

I'm not insinuating that Alabama was in on this kid just saying it's good for Florida state to have a presence throughout all the state and the western handles one that sometimes gets forgotten anyway talented prospect.

2:16.0

But a real wide prospect and a guy who I think is probably a guard maybe could grow into a tackle maybe he's got the you know the widths dimensions of a tackle but the height is still kind of something that is in question there but but can you bring us a little bit better ideas to some of the real physical readings there and whether or not some kind of definitive knowledge of those readings might have led to the Florida state coaching staff moving on and off earlier than they did otherwise.

2:44.0

Yeah, so for status obviously, though, not a lot of offers this year a lot of positions offensive line included we we kind of got over what what their plan is on the offensive line that they're looking for athleticism they understand that a lot of times offensive lineman developed late in the cycle they're not looking for guys who won't be able to help them in two years so they think they'll be a better offensive line recruiting team next year and I I tend to believe that there's some validity to that idea because I know coach Alex Akins is a good recruiter.

3:13.0

But they had not offered offer chemo yet and until you know this weekend and ultimately from what I was told by some sources I have over there is that they like this film they like this aggressiveness they like this physicality and they liked you know how fast he got to the second level and he's definitely guy who plays with good effort technique not terrible but but certainly not not refined and something that's going to need to continue to be worked on but I think that's going to be a good example of the way that I'm going to do it.
