biblically about everything. All right so if you would open your Bible's

please to 1st Peter, chapter 4, we'll be starting in verse 17 today.

And we're actually going to finish 1st Peter 4. So we're going to get through up to chapter 5, the beginning of chapter 5.

But then I want to pause right there.

So we're only doing three verses because we're doing 17, 18, and 19.

And I'm not trying to stretch the content out.

I don't really like that sort of thing. So I'm going to teach these verses.

And then we're going to pause because we're

going to get into a new subject about leadership

and what kind of pastor you should look for

or what kind of leader you like to be,

you know, that sort of thing in 1st Peter 5.

I love, love this passage, it's close to my heart because I consider it very self-confrontational

for my own ministry.

Now, since we're doing a, what would be a shorter study, you know, that's

not me, I'm not going to do a shorter study, so instead we're going to be starting in Proverbs

30, here's a little, here's a little fun passage for you before we head into First

Peter. So you can have your place there in First Peter 4, but Proverbs chapter 30 has what is a

messianic passage in the book of proverbs, it might be one you're familiar with, but I just

wanted to give it credit.

Because I find this to be a beautiful passage and wonderfully laid out and really awesome and it gives us Jesus
