I can't tell you the last time I watched a preseason game start to finish.

It's been several years, even though it's kind of part of the job description to watch all of these games start to finish. I've never missed a play during a regular season game, although that's not even true. Some of these horrible seasons late in the

year when you get to a fourth quarter of a blowout game, I have definitely turned the channel.

But preseason football for most of you is a tough watch. It is for me. But as long as Doc Walker is in the

booth, I will be watching start to finish as I did today. Now, it was a close game, but the star of the

game from the jump was Richard Doc Walker as the lead analyst in the booth. I told you guys last week,

those of us that have known Doc forever and have worked with Doc over the years, I think there's

always been a sense of what we all kind of know about each other, like strengths and weaknesses

and broadcasting, etc.

But there's never been anybody that would disagree that Doc's best is when he's in the booth as a lead analyst. I know it's subjective. I know not everybody agrees, but he is

entertaining as hell. He is, and he's informative.
