So there's some news this morning.

Everybody's reporting it.

I think Tom Pellissarro had it first.

But Washington has agreed to a new deal with Nick Allegretti.

Extends his current deal through 2027.

The upcoming season was going to be the last year of his deal, and it helps lower his 2026 cap charge,

which was $7.1 million. Now, Allegretti, I thought, might make sense as a cut along with Latimore

and pain. They're keeping pain. They're now keeping Allegretti, because obviously they are moving on

from Tyler Beaudish. That was the big surprise last week. And Allegretti because obviously they are moving on from Tyler Biotish.

And Allegretti is either, you know, a starting center, a starting guard, or a backup guard and center.

That's basically what you have right now.

And I say starting guard because it is possible if Chris Paul moves on,

Brandon Coleman and Allegrody battle it out if they end up signing a center in free agency.

A Connor McGovern as an example out of Buffalo.

So Allegretti has been extended.

And so he and Andrew Wiley are coming back among their free agents.

And again, we're going to have, you know, Al Goretti was under contract.

He was not a free agent, but there was a possibility of a release there, but not now.

And, you know, their offensive line, it's going to be interesting to see if they make a move for center in free agency, if they make a move for guard in free agency, or if they think Nick Allegrety at center, Steve Souter, not a big fan, and Brandon Coleman at left guard, if they lose Chris Paul, are good enough. Look, they may sign Chris Paul.

And Brandon Coleman and Allegretti becomes the starter, and Brandon Coleman, Coleman becomes one of those swing, you know, tackle guards.

Andrew Wiley, as a backup as well. Gotta have eight of these guys, sometimes nine or ten.
