Like getting a lot of questions, and I have a lot to get through. but I'm breaking this up into two parts because I got multiple ones on Jane Daniels, and I wanted to get through as many as I could on the regular mailbag, and I didn't want to just clog it. So I'm going to do a separate one on Jaden for Monday, and then I'll have another podcast on Tuesday talking to Rutgers offense, a recorder's offense coordinator about quarterback,

Aethan Calais.

What do the commanders have in him?

He's a guy who could factor into Washington's future as a backup.

So just felt you like you might want to learn about him.

And then the commanders have their first OTA practice open to the media on next week

on May 27th.

And so we'll be out there for that and getting video,

getting stuff, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. So before I get to the mailbag, just one sad note to

report here, long-time AP sports reporter Howard Fenrich, who covered the commanders, was a national

tennis reporter for the AP, cover the Nats, et cetera. And again, local AP sports writer. He died on,

I believe it was late Wednesday night. So I'm recording this on Thursday. Howard was a great guy.

And just he had Joseph White, who used to cover the redskins for the AP, was always out there.

And Howard would occasionally suffer him. I would see him at other events. But then after Joseph left the beat, Howard took over as the main guy, as Steve

Wino did as well. So we got to know Howard pretty well. Just a really, really good guy.

Had two kids, married, and I always enjoyed him. Smart guy, fantastic reporter, really good with the Olympics,

good, great with tennis. He was, again, their national tennis reporter. If you saw a story

by the AP on Howard, Roger Federer was quoted in there about him. That's the kind of respect

he wanted, but I can tell you it's just it kind of guts the dc those
