It's time to take command with former NFL tight end, Logan Paulson, and former commander's beat reporter Craig Hoffman.

Ouch. That wasn't a very fun football game. The last time we sat here with the commanders won on a hell Mary, Logan.

Yeah, I know. I mean, this is obviously the other side of that corner. You play close football games. You're going to win some,

you're going to lose some. And obviously, like, throughout the game, you're kind of holding out

hope that Jane Daniels and the offense could figure it out. And obviously, kind of late in that game,

they couldn't quite get it rolling. They just seemed a little bit off on some stuff. And this is the result. I really think the defense did a great job.

And I think there were moments where the offense looked absolutely fantastic.

But the level of consistency we've come to expect from the group just wasn't there today.

That's Logan Paulson in case you don't know. So I want to talk about the offense. I want to talk about the defense. And I do want to talk

about officiating before we leave. I'm not going to whine incessantly about it, but I do want

to say something. So before we get out of here, don't let me, don't let me forget. It's a bigger

picture NFL thing. You can slide out of the picture so you don't get in trouble. But it is a very frustrating game where the commanders lose 28, 27.

I also had a moment.

I picked them to win but not cover.

There's two and a half points spread.

So if you get down there, you kick a field goal, you win by two, I would have nailed it.

Alas, they did not.

Let's start off talking about the offense.

This is an offense that still is one of the best in football. They ultimately put up 27 points. Yeah, 28, 27 is that? What was the final score? Yeah, 2827. It's right in front of us on the graphic.
