We'll start with the commanders.

If you told me they were going to put up 27 points and Marcus Mariotto is going to play pretty good football,

I'd say they were going to beat the Atlanta Falcons who were shut out a week ago by the dreadful Carolina Panthers.

I might have thought that too.

But the Atlanta Falcons racked up 435 yards of offense against this Washington defense, and they get the win 34 to 27.

We talked about it throughout the week.

We knew the Falcons would have a better performance at home than they showed in that humiliating loss to the Carolina Panthers.

It was a perfect storm.
