So we talked yesterday on the show about the schedule, which came out on Thursday night,

Wednesday night, and was complete.

And we could start to look to see, you know, where and when they played.

And one of the things that you have to focus in on is not, you know, getting into, you know, we knew the opponents, you know, the when and where.

It's about how it relates to the teams that they're playing and who that team is playing the

week before, because that creates something called net rest days. This has been something that's been a big number. Aaron Shats,

among others have sort of focused in on it in recent years. The 49ers, as an example, in

2024, had the worst net rest days in the league, and you know that their season went to, you know, hell in a handbucket.

You had the largest net rest advantage last year was the Lions.

They ended up with 15 wins.

You know, we've seen the net rest day thing work more often than it doesn't.

And the net rest stat, if you will, is essentially the number of days you have over a 17-week season

in terms of advantage days of rest heading into a game or a disadvantage in

days rest heading into a game. So I'll take you through Washington's schedule and kind of

explain what it is. So in week three, they face the Raiders. The Raiders on September 14th,

the week before, play a game, but Washington played the previous Thursday. So after Washington

plays Green Bay in week two on Thursday night football, they have 11 days to prepare

for their game in week three against Las Vegas. The Raiders only have seven days to prepare,

so Washington actually has a four-day net rest advantage. And so you go through every week. Not every week
