that are going on with the commanders. That's on the commander's homepage. You can also get it as

0:42.1

part of the ESPN app in the SC for you portion. So just know that as well. One to two times a week

in the off season, three to four times a week during the season, just trying to give you some

little nuggets instead of not always just a longer story, but sometimes it's just you can carry it out with those videos. So now you know that. All right. So in a minute, I'm going to talk a little bit about looking at the, excuse me, the Seahawks and the Patriots, why they're in the Super Bowl, how they were built, what kind of lessons can the commanders take, and where are they at maybe in that process? And we'll get into their roster, obviously, throughout the offseason, but I just kind of want to look at those teams and kind of compare it to Washington, how they were built, and maybe some of the successes that Seattle and New England have had that have separated them from the commanders. And there's a variety of reasons. Injuries are a big part, but it's not just that. So get into that in a minute. Before we get there, just a couple of things. Coach shirt's kind of quiet right now. I know that doesn't mean nothing's going on. It just means it's been quieter this week. But I still expect them, listen, man, that there's most likely a press conference early early next week probably on Tuesday and so by then

1:47.3

the coaching staff will be put together the full staff because they're not doing it until they

1:52.8

have the full staff together and then we'll talk to Dan Quinn and then both coordinators so there you go

1:58.4

also Cliff Kingsbury appears to be shut out from the

2:02.2

offensive coordinator sweepstakes from Romilly. He did not get the Giants job. The Raiders still

2:08.5

have, they just hired Clint Kuback. They're not going to hire Kingsbury's O.C. Very different

2:13.5

systems. But it is, it's a bit surprising that Kingsbury would come out of this process

2:17.7

without an OC job and talking to, I think, I do believe in some places, there is a, the feeling has been maybe not as much, does not have the scheme versatility that others, some other coaches have. In the Giants case, I think it was that. Plus the fact that Nagy is an Andy Reed guy, I think that helped as well. So anyways, I don't know what Kingsbury is going to do, but I am a little bit surprised. I'm not surprised he didn't get a head coaching job, but I am surprised he didn't get an OC job somewhere because whatever anybody says is a scheme versatility, what he has shown is that when you have the parts, it works pretty well. We saw that last year.

3:41.3

The Jayden Daniels had a really good year. Part of that was because of Kingsbury offense. A big part of it was because of who Jayden Daniels is, and they work the offense around that. That's to Kingsbury's credit. So, but that's what's going on with him. And then the last thing I want to talk about before I get into the other stuff is what's going on with the Washington Post. And this is going to be a very difficult week for the post and for the sports staff in particular. And I'm bringing them up. I know that a lot of people lose jobs. And this isn't about, you know, just like, okay, what about this place or this place? I feel bad for anybody who loses job. But just say that up front. But I know these people, they're friends of mine, their colleagues, they've been competitors. So I want to talk about them just very briefly because it really is gonna be surreal if the worst things happen that you fear. And these are friends of mine, and these are, again, colleagues, competitors. One reason I've always loved this market is because of the high level of reporters that you were competed against here and it only made you

3:47.8

better one reason i wanted to stay here was because of that i always felt like it made you better i felt

3:53.3

like i had to be better i had to always stay on top of things because if you didn't, then why would anybody read

3:59.4

you because they have all these other choices from high-level reporters?

4:02.9

And so, like, I always appreciated that aspect.
