We're investigating the assassination of a Palestinian community leader in California

And in another story we've been working on for months, we're uncovering what happened

when Yemeni children started to go missing from a refugee camp in Israel during the 1950s.

It was a very hard situation because to confirm her suspicions,

that means that people that she trusted, betrayed her.

And it was, I think, too much to comprehend at the time.

We'll be taking you to remote villages in Turkey with an Armenian family on a mission to find their ancestral home.

I was talking to a colleague of mine who's Armenian and she asked me how, you know, what we were going to do.

And I said, well, we're going to go to Yeravon. I have a nice hotel and we're going to find some

guides and stuff. And she stopped me and said, what does Yerevan have to do with you? Nothing.

And of course, she was right. In our first mini-series, you'll be introduced to a soccer-obsessed

teenager from Afghanistan, taking the smuggler's route from his home in Kabul all the

way to a new life in Europe.
