Today I'm supposed to talk about the relationship that I'm proudest of in my life,

and I love being married. I've written a new joke recently that goes,

I adore my husband.

There's no one in the world that I would rather spend my life with,

which is unfortunate because I deserve better.

I think our marriage is pretty easy.

We've only been together five years,

but sharing your life can be annoying for both of you.

Navigating parenting, having contests over who's the most tired. I mean, it's difficult not to compare who's doing more of what who's

coping better than whom. I know married people who've split up for a while who've

hated each other for a while who've cheated and come back stronger from it. I

mean I don't know how that happens but it does. I think

looking to the future of my marriage we are so lucky that I have had a bunch of

therapy because we communicate properly. We have lots of relationship skills, lots of healthy, healthy tools to keep us together.

Because guys, when you get into a marriage, you are really supposed to try your best to stay together.

Except for when you can't and that's fine and I

support you leaving 100%. Sometimes the best relationships happen when both

people put in the work to make them great. Therapy can be a place to work through the challenges you face in all your

relationships, whether with friends, work, your significant other, or anyone. I'm tired today, but

ask me tomorrow and I will tell you that I admire my husband very much.

I am proud of our relationship, and I hope I continue to feel that way 60 years from now.
