Hey everyone and welcome to the Self Love Fix podcast. This is Beatrice, your host.

If you're listening to this right now, you're probably in anticipation of the

actual episodes which are soon to come. But until then I'll give you a little

synopsis of what is to come, which is a podcast for women of color, by a woman

of color, about self love, self care, personal development, self esteem, and

self worth. My aim with this podcast is to make all of these topics and really

just topics of wellness approachable and digestible and something that is

relatable because I feel like we get a lot of messages from whether it's media,

or other podcasts even that just don't feel relatable and they don't feel

tangible. Like they kind of feel like messages or pieces of advice that you feel

like you can't apply to your own life and even if you did try to apply to your

own life, it would be hard to keep up with or it just wouldn't make sense like it

doesn't fit your life. So if you're one of those people that have been reading,

different kinds of self help books and all these different kind of podcasts or

different kinds of media and consuming all these things to try and get to that

place of self love, self worth, self high self esteem, personal development, and

self care, and you're just kind of like, ugh, it's not working. I need somebody who

understands my story, who understands things from my perspective. Yeah.

I got you. I've got lots of things planned and I hope that I can help you on your journey.

I just want to be kind of that little stepping stone to help you get where you need to be

if I may in terms of just using my own experiences and what I've learned for you.

So hopefully we can help each other. You can help me learn if I'm helping you.
