Hi, I'm Zach Johnson, a corn and soybean farmer from Minnesota.

Hey, and I'm Mitchell Hora, a real crop farmer in Iowa.

Agriculture today is in a position where the economics are sort of in a slump, you could say,

and we are also under a lot of pressure to try to make sure our practices are correct when

it comes to the environmental impact.

The consumer and the ag companies are being more connected with the farms than ever before.

We need to be able to improve our operations.

So we're launching a new podcast called Field Work.

We're going to have open conversations to look at a lot of different ways where we can

move the needle and improve

our operations. There's no silver bullet, and we are going to just unveil a lot of the

different opportunities that we can have as farmers. Speaking of farmers, we're going to be

bringing a bunch of farmers in here to learn from them. I mean, I'll admit every time I go out and

planting the spring, I go planting that strip. And I hope it works, hope it comes up.

We are going to be bringing in some big food company execs.

When we look at this, we look at it both from a consumer and a supply chain point of view.

We're going to have an open and honest conversation.

A lot of the government policies are roadblocks to success right now. But overall, we're going to have a lot of fun and not take ourselves too seriously.
