Robeservations, what is a Robeservation? I was really thinking over this weekend how I should,

you know, I don't really introduce myself a whole lot. I assume that you know who I am. And when I mean by, when I say who

I am, I mean what I've done and what I mean by what I say what I've done is the career I've had. And

I have been making comic books for the past 35 years. I feel like I'm making comic books my whole life,

but I'm making comic books professionally for 35 years.

I was hired in the spring of 1987 at 18 years of age.

I was published in the fall of 1987 at 19 years of age.

And it's a really fun time.

Really, really fun time to be making comics.

And seen a lot, been through multiple editors in chief.

I've covered that on this podcast before, seven editors in chief of Marvel. I've seen multiple heads of state at

DC Comics. I have watched multiple relaunches. I helped launch a very important comic company

called Image Comics and really set it up in its formative

formative years. It's most formative years, the years that generated by far the most electricity.

And you guys tell me that. That's not me telling you that I see you guys when I go to all

these different shows. I've watched comic

conventions go from venues that have thousands to venues that have hundreds of thousands. Literally,

literally, I have watched San Diego Comic Con become an absolute behemoth. I have watched New York

Comic Con become an absolute behemoth. I have watched, you know, the culture of comic

conventions where seemingly there's three to four every single month. What am I saying? Did I say

every single month? Every single week. Three to four every single week. I have watched comic book material be adapted
