So what I have been told by my producer, Julia, is that you are here on the show this week

to share some really remarkable audio tape.

Maybe you could tell us what it is.

Sure, this is a tape of a major lecture I delivered in the subject of chemistry

at Caltech University, the famous academy in Pasadena.

I guess I just knew you as a, you know, like a freelance writer.

I didn't even realize you were interested in chemistry.

I didn't either.

I don't know anything about it beyond what I learned in chemistry in high school,

and I didn't even pass that class.
