Hey everyone, welcome back to Forward. My name is Jules Turbac. You may have turned into an

episode with me, Zach, or Yang in the past, but today I'm actually leading. I'm here with Ryan Long,

who I'm going to intro in just a second. But if you haven't tuned into an episode with me on it

before, I definitely want to give a quick background because this is definitely a change from when

Zach or Yang are leading. So I'm a cultural commentator predominantly on TikTok. I've grown my

platform to 250K on there. I'm mostly focused on tech and digital culture, but in reality today,

digital culture funnels into every aspect of life. And on that platform, I often uplift ideas like

UBI and independent politics, because I think it's an important aspect of our future. So that's kind

of the role I play in all of this, but and how I fit in here. But today's guest is Ryan Long,

comedian. I would say cultural commentator as well. Do you like ever deem yourself as so?

No, I would just say comedian. Nailed it the first time.

Okay, just comedian. You're actually the first comedy show I've ever been to. Which one?

I went to the stand. It was like when you were actually recording your special.

You came on a special table? Yes, yes.

That was very nice. I was like scared because I didn't want to be like single out. Like I was just

in the back. I was like, I hope like, you know, like with the stand-up stuff. But I was in the back

and I was like, you don't want to end up in like a comedian destroys Heckler compilation.

Yeah, yeah, exactly that. But I was in the corner. So I was like, I feel like prime spot if

someone was just in the very far back corner for you to be like, hey, you back there. Yeah.
