Summary

This week on Literally, Not OK, Iโ€™m joined by one of my favorite unhinged girlies in comedy โ€” Liza Treyger!! She's an actress, stand-up queen, co-host of Thatโ€™s Messed Up, and the star of her Netflix special Night Owl โ€” and babe, we get into it ALL.

We talk:

๐Ÿ’จ Smoking weed daily (and maybe quitting??)

๐Ÿ„ Taking mushrooms backstage with the Jonas Brothers

๐ŸŽญ Getting summoned by Jon Hamm at The Comedy Cellar

๐ŸŽฅ Doing a scene with Michael Keaton

๐Ÿง  ADHD, bad habits, and what itโ€™s like trying to grow while still being a hot mess

๐Ÿก Plus: Real Housewives drama, yelling at our husbands, late-girl behavior, and why we still canโ€™t clean our apartments

๐Ÿ“บ Watch Night Owl now on Netflix

Well, one of my most proud things is my friend was pregnant, watched my special, laughed so much, her water broke, gave birth. Stop. Yeah. See, it's a good one. I'm telling you. That made me really happy. Like, I'll watch people's things before they come on. And I'll be like, it was great. Let's not even talk about it. But yours was actually really funny. And I love how I'm holding these literally not okay cards. But there's nothing on them. No. Okay? But we're just going to pretend they're cute. It feels probably cool to hold them. Yeah. It does feel like I'm professional. When in fact, I have no idea what I'm doing. Oh, you are professional. Thank you. but yeah I'm literally'm literally not okay for many reasons. I think I'm going to do the unthinkable. Stop smoking weed. It's just a thought. I doubt I'm going to do it. Yeah. But we're going to give it a go. No, I know it's turning my life. I smoke all day, all night, but then you watch a Wiz Khalifa interview and you go, he's doing good. I swear to God, I walked in, I talked to the producer, Destiny, I say, yeah, but like, Wiz Khalifa smokes every single day and he's fine, like, all day. Seth Rogen. Seth Rogen. It's doing good, you know.

1:45.0

Holly Sheen smoked so much crack. But we don't want that. We don't want, that's not the example. Yeah, that's true. We need people that are excelling, winning Emmys. Yeah. Those are the potheads that we need to look up to. Yeah. You just set up, Seth Rogen. Yeah. See, I know.

2:00.2

He's one of my heroes.

2:01.3

Yeah, and he's doing so good.

2:03.0

But I think it'll be how...

2:04.2

I... you just set up Seth Rogen. Yeah. See, I know. He's one of my heroes. Yeah, and he's doing so good. But I think it'll be how I don't know. I always wonder, I'd rather, someone said if you cut out gluten in six months, you'll be like this. So I wonder if I cut out these things. What will, will I reach my true potential? Do I need to reach my true potential?

2:17.7

I know. I'm already doing pretty good. Amazing. I'm not trying that hard. Exactly. So it's like, like, you know. No, I'm telling you. I feel the same way because I'm like, I never want to be like as famous as Taylor Swift or like somebody that like I don't even want to be. I just want to be like getting free things. I want for things.
