Many years ago in our family home evening we posed a question to all our many children.

If you could ask Jesus one question, what would it be? We went around the room and got a

response from each child. One said, I'd ask him, do you hear every one of my prayers?

Another one asked simply, why didn't the dinosaurs survive until today? I want to see one.

One other asked, what does heaven look like? I really thought about this if you remember

Maureen and I wanted to come up with a really great question. I said, what about my life is

pleasing to you? And of course, Maureen, you remember what question you came up with?

Oh, I do remember. I said, can you tell me all that you know that I don't know?

That was the topper. That was the question of the night and everyone after that wanted to have

one more chance, formulating another question. In this week's lesson, we have a very powerful

question asked of the Lord face to face in his ministry and it's worth all of us pondering about

this specific question. Let's turn to Matthew chapter 19 verses 16 through 26 and behold, one came

and said unto him, good master, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?

That is certainly a question that we could ask because we are trying to work out our salvation
