This week, Joseph Smith, Matthew 1, Matthew 24 through 25, Mark 12 through 13, and Luke 21.

Now, we probably should say that the reason we have so much content here is that all of these

gospel writers are focused on these crucial events in the last week of Jesus' life,

and we have all this additional perspective that's super helpful.

That's why it's such a long reading list.

So for this first episode this week, we're going to focus on Matthew 24 and Joseph

Smith, Matthew.

For the second half episode, for the next episode this week, we'll do Matthew 25.

So, episode one will focus on what is called the Olivet discourse.

It's also been referred to as Jesus' little apocalypse episode, where he's going to give

some end-time prophecies to his disciples back then.

And you'll notice this is the one chapter out of the New Testament that shows up in the

Pearl of Great Price. Matthew 24 becomes Joseph Smith Matthew.

Yeah, why is that? We were talking beforehand and you shared some insights that I hadn't even known.
