1:22.1 | When I arrived at the airport we were just checking in and I'd realized at that point that I'd forgotten my wallet. |
1:30.1 | How could that possibly happen? It never had before in my life, but it did. |
1:36.1 | So Maureen went on, she got on the airplane with the rest of our tour participants and I was left to figure out how to make it through TSA without any identification. |

1:49.1 | After a very long time and with much help I finally got through, but anyone who knows the New Salt Lake Airport knows that it is a very long walk to the gates. |
1:59.1 | The agent told me it was 1.7 miles to my gate. |
2:04.1 | I ran to try to get on my flight, but just as I arrived they closed the door and would not let me on. I had missed it by 30 seconds. |
2:14.1 | My disappointment and stress were huge, especially when I tried so hard to make that plane. |
2:20.1 | I would have to catch a plane in a few hours and miss our orientation meeting that evening in Boston. |
2:27.1 | You know what I did to calm down? I sat and read through my novel diary and about a hundred of the entries that I'd made about gratitude through the year. |
2:38.1 | My stress turned into joy and a sense of the many blessings I have. |
2:43.1 | It was a sweet few hours instead of a miserable time. I actually loved it. |
2:49.1 | For this coming year I have created the Kirtland diary for thoughts and personal revelation. |
