You're not going to be here. I love the season of spring I love the newness of life I love the crocus the daffodils and tulips just popping through the winter-hardened

earth. I love the buds that magically appear on all the trees. I especially love the red buds and the dogwoods that were the first

to show in my home state of Missouri on our forested farm. Most of all though I love

the fact that all things are created and made to bear record of Jesus Christ,

things which are on the earth, and things which are in the earth, and things which are under

the earth both above and beneath all things bear record of him.

What an exciting thing to talk about this week, the newness of life that comes, and the celebration of

Easter, the atoning sacrifice, death, and resurrection of our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ.

and this is the Meridian magazine Come Follow Me podcast.

This edition is the Special Easter lesson and is entitled He Shall Rise

with Healing in His Wings. We are so delighted to be with you all. You know, as we mature in the Gospel and in our

understanding of the life and mission of the Savior Jesus Christ, don't our

feelings and appreciation for Easter increase so much? our cease and our hearts and souls center on the true meaning of this most significant of all celebrations.

Oh, I so agree. Yes, we should be thinking about and turning to the Savior every day. Yes, we

remember him each Sabbath as we thoughtfully partake of the sacrament. Of course

we deeply remember him as we make our covenants in the temple, all of which

are centered in him.

And just as in ancient times with the feast of the Passover, when the faithful celebrated their

deliverance from death, we have this grand opportunity once each year to celebrate Easter,

our sacred celebration of Jesus Christ, delivering us from death.

And Maureen, this sacred season has led me to think about our incredible time in the Middle East back in 1992 and that marvelous
