Thank you for joining me and countless others today for our prayer together.

Let's set our intention and focus as we connect with Jesus.

So go ahead and close your eyes.

Just take a deep, cleansing breath.

I want us to start by simply praying,

Jesus, what do you think of me?

What do you want to say to me today?

Will you just say that?

And then take a few moments to listen.

I really believe Jesus wants to talk to you today.

Thank you. and I really believe Jesus wants to experience the overflowing power of his resurrection working in me.

I will be one with Him in His suffering and become like Him in his death.

When you said yes to following Jesus, there was a death to your old self and a new life in Christ.

We all experience suffering in this life. But guess what?

We also can experience the power of the resurrection of Jesus,

that power that overcame death and hell and all sin.

So I want us to start by thinking about the cross and thanking Jesus for what he did for us. Will you pray with me?

Jesus, thank you for loving me. Thank you for taking all my sin, for dying for me.

Thank you for overcoming death

and bringing resurrection life and power and purpose to me.

I am righteous because of you, Jesus.

Because of the resurrection.
