Hey, what's going on? Welcome to Zoe Church podcast. And happy Easter to everyone that's listening to this week's message. You have joined us for Easter Sunday here in Los Angeles. reality that our God is not dead. Jesus rose from the grave. We're going to go to Mark

16. The angel announces he is not here. He has risen just like he said he would. Again, I want to thank everyone that likes,

to get the message of Jesus out around the world. Without any further ado, let's jump into

this week's message, come and see.

Mark chapter 16, I'm going to jump in.

This is the announcement of Easter, the announcement that our God is not dead.

We're not here paying tribute to a dead God.

We actually believe that Jesus is alive.

Says in Mark 16, when the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene,

Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go and anoint Jesus' body. Very early on the first day of the week,

just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb, and they asked each other, who will roll the

stone away from the entrance to the tomb? But when they looked up, they saw the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away.

As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in white robe, kind of like our choir today.

I thought it was funnier than the reaction. I got to be honest, I thought it was kind of like, it was

kind of like cute, you know, like a cute joke.

Sitting on the right side and they were alarmed.

Don't be alarmed, he said.

You are looking for Jesus, the Nazarene, who was crucified.

He has risen.
