I love Christmas lights.

Seeing all the houses so beautifully decorated, putting them up in my own home.

It just brightens these long, dark days of winter.

But the best part, they're more than just a decoration.

The lights at Christmastime are a reminder that Jesus has come to bring light into the darkness.

Today, Nancy's going to explain more about how the light of Christ is our hope.

She's continuing in a series called Come a Door. In the weeks leading up to Christmas Day, I hope that you're getting in the spirit, not just of holiday cheer, but of the reason for

great cheer, the true reason for this season, the fact that Jesus, Emmanuel, has come to this

earth. And we're celebrating that and getting our hearts

prepared for the celebration of Christmas over these next days by talking about some Christmas carols.
