Join as always my co-host, Nick Palado. Tonight we are here to break down the combine

winners and losers from the defensive side of the ball. We talked offense in the the last podcast. A lot of big-name defenders that showed out at the Combine. Obviously, the Giants are a more defensive, heavy roster right now. That doesn't mean they're not going to use some of these top assets on the defense. Because the Giants are, we hope, at least, going to be one of the teams that doesn't draft by position.

They draft by best player available for the most part and try to hope you can match need

with best player available.

But you got to take the best prospect.

You have to do it.

It's how these teams consistently build winners.

And so there are a lot of good defensive prospects that showed out this combine that will be

in the mix of five and seven

and when the Giants pick on day two. So let's start the discussion by talking about one of them

who will probably be in the mix for the Giants, potentially, I should say. I think there's still a

good chance he won't even make it down to five. But that's Kvon, Thibito, who is obviously

the edge prospect out of Oregon. By far and away, the freakiest in my mind in this draft class, far and away the highest upside edge prospect.

But ruffled a few feathers when he ran the 40, did the bench press, which by the way, threw up insane O numbers on the bench press, which was a bit unexpected to some degree.
