We've got another combined edition of NextPats for you.

Very excited to chat with you all here from Indianapolis.

And once again at the Indianapolis Convention Center.

And we just finished up hearing from executive vice president of player personnel for the New

England Patriots, Elliot Wolf.

And it's some really interesting things to say.

I'm not sure what the appetite is for Patriots fans to actually hear from Elliot Wolf.

And I get it to some degree.

You're not happy with how the roster was constructed last offseason, nor should you be.

But I did find it interesting that on the outset of his conversation with mostly local reporters at the podium here in Indy,

he took accountability for how things went last year.

And when it came to the roster, that was on him.

And he said he shared in the frustrations and understood the frustrations of the fans.

And he is clearly going to be here to try to work it out and rectify the situation with Mike Vrable.

In what capacity?

That to me was the question coming into our back and forth with Elliot today.

And he made it very clear.

When it comes down to it at the end of the day, he is the one who has final say on the Patriots 53 man roster.

Just to clarify, do you have final say on the 503 men of roster?
