Summary

(00:00-25:06) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison sharing their thoughts on the Indianapolis Colts season ending over the weekend on a controversial fourth down play call by Shane Steichen.

(25:06-39:38) – Jake and Jimmy continue the Colts conversation but shift it towards Michael Pittman Jr.’s season and his future with the team. Additionally, they touch on what the Colts need to do this offseason to supplement Anthony Richardson.

(39:38-46:28) – Hour one concludes with Jake and Jimmy opening the phone lines for the first time with one caller questioning why they didn’t even have Zack Moss on the field instead of Tyler Goodson and the other wondering why Jonathan Taylor ran out of bounds twice instead of picking up extra yards.

(46:28-1:20:19) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, of CBS4 and FOX59 joins the program to give his opinion on the way the Colts game ended on Saturday night against the Houston Texans, states that the Colts will do whatever it takes in order to retain Michael Pittman Jr., details why the Colts need to add a better option as the second wide receiver opposite of Pittman, and then goes through the list of players that are free agents that he thinks will be back or will be playing elsewhere.

(1:20:19-1:28:46) – With today being locker room clean out day for the Indianapolis Colts, Shane Steichen and players spoke with the media one final time. Jake and Jimmy play some of the comments Steichen made regarding the season, the direction the organization is going underneath him, and what Anthony Richardson learned this season while sidelined.

(1:28:46-1:34:11) – The one o’clock hour concludes with the Jake and Jimmy previewing tonight’s Pacers game against the Boston Celtics. They announce that Jayson Tatum is out for Boston and then wonder if the Celtics went over to Hinkle Fieldhouse on Sunday for a shootaround.

(1:34:11-1:58:12) – Former Colts offensive lineman Rick DeMulling joins Query & Company yo share his thoughts on the ending of the Colts season, what his thoughts are as an offensive lineman seeing teams run out of the shotgun in short yardage situations, praises Braden Smith for being such a consistent offensive lineman when he was healthy, and explains some of the challenges that offensive lineman have blocking today compared to when he blocked for Peyton Manning in Indianapolis.

(1:58:12-2:15:59) – Several teams have fired their head coach and general manager within the last 24 hours in the NFL. Jake and Jimmy rank the head coaching vacancies as to where they would want to go if they were an aspiring head coach.

(2:15:59-2:22:26) – Today’s show ends with the JCook Plays of the Day, Eddie sharing a couple bets, and JMV weighing in on the discussion as to whether the Colts should bring back Gardner Minshew.

2:28.4

Did he throw a little bit behind Goodson and that caused for an issue.
